Over-designed and over-produced, normal shoes are mass-consumed, wasteful (22 billion shoes made each year and most of them end up in landfills within the first year of production).  In 2024 Vivobarefoot has launched its flagship innovation program – Vivobiome, a radical scan-to-print circular bare-foot-wear system that reimagines how footwear is designed and made. Made-to-order, made-to-measure, made locally and made to be re-made.  VIVOBIOME is not just a new product, it’s a radical vision for a circular system; enabled by technology to re-imagine manufacturing that takes it back to its roots.
