Zach is a passionate leader for climate action and chartered engineer, currently serving as the National Carbon Specialist for the National Trust. His work extends across all elements of climate change mitigation for the charity, including leading the Trust’s decarbonisation strategy, determining policy regarding land-use carbon and nature-based solutions, supervising climate-related research, as well as work regarding the developing world of green finance. He also acts as a volunteer technical expert on a number of Net Zero boards and steering groups, such as those in the UK government as well as with several leading academic institutions.
