Malini Mehra is chief executive of GLOBE International, the environmental legislators organisation founded by Al Gore and John Kerry. An award-winning sustainability leader, Malini has more than three decades of international experience on climate change and sustainable development. From teen student leader to NGO founder, she has forged a distinguished international career working with business, government, the United Nations and civil society, (including NGOs such as Oxfam and Friends of the Earth). Malini brings a truly unique multisectoral, politically-informed global perspective to the challenge of the sustainability transition. From advising the UN Secretary General on UN reform, to leading for the UK government on international sustainable development with China, India, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico, Malini has advised some of the world’s largest companies including Unilever and Hewlett Packard. Focused on practical action, she is committed to marrying global with local action. An Indian citizen, she founded India’s first national award-winning climate change mobilisation NGO more than 20 years ago, working with cities, business and youth. Her urban sustainability work dates back to Local Agenda 21 in the mid-1990s, and she serves as a Commissioner to the Mayor of London on Sustainable Development and Ambassador for London Climate Action Week, focussing on whole of society mobilisation  www.malinimehra.com
