George is Vice President of Carbon Accounting at Sage, where he works to help SMBs, who are 99% of the world’s businesses, reliably measure their carbon footprint and become more sustainable. He joined Sage through its acquisition of carbon accounting start-up Spherics -- now Sage Earth --, which he founded. George now leads the Sage Earth team, which has already driven notable success for Sage, including groundbreaking partnerships with NatWest and Amazon that help to make carbon accounting – and sustainable businesses – less daunting for SMBs. ​

George is a true thought leader in the sustainability space,  bringing tangible, science-based products to market, inspiring cross-functional teams and leaders to collaborate on humankind’s biggest threat. ​

​George’s passion now lies exclusively with saving our planet from climate and ecological breakdown. Prior to founding Spherics, he co-founded events company Okoru, successfully scaling to multi-million turnover in a handful of years. It is here where his interest in sustainability and protecting the natural word began to develop. ​

He is an alumni of the Cambridge University Institute of Sustainability Leadership (CISL), having taken the programme in 2019, and resides in Bristol with his soon to be wife Hannah.
