Our mission in Woodly is to accelerate the change towards a sustainable future by redesigning plastics.

We are a Finnish-based, global, material development technology company. We strive for a “world without waste”, where wood-based, carbon-neutral recyclable plastics become the standard in packaging materials, leading to an ecologically sustainable future. Our vision is for fully circulating bio-based plastics production based on sustainable and responsible raw materials.

Woodly® is an entirely new type of plastic based on softwood cellulose and it mimics the best qualities of traditional fossil-based plastics. Yes, Woodly material is plastic, just not the kind we are used to.
