FibreLab is an award-winning textile recycling company based in east London. Our custom-built mechanical shredding machine turns post-industrial textile waste into valuable recycled fibre. Our work is hyper-local, ensuring that waste collection, sorting and remanufacturing stays within the U.K. We currently partner with clients in the garment manufacturing and hospitality sectors to recycle and reimagine off-cuts and stained or damaged linens. At FibreLab, we are inventing creative and design-led strategies for utilising recycled fibres in the creative industries with our most recent material innovation, PAPERTEX which is supported by Innovate U.K.’s Fast Start Grant.
