What is the just transition, and how can my company be part of it?

25 Jun 2025
South Gallery - SG5/6
Sector: Net-Zero Business

Oxford Net Zero, Race to Zero and SBTi, joined by leading business representatives, will highlight how and why your company should implement the ‘just transition’. Just transition planning is a mission-critical lens for making climate action work in a world of political upheaval and contestation.  By putting people at the centre of climate action, companies can help ensure the long-term success of their transition plans. Our speakers will demystify what a ‘just transition’ is, creating an on-ramp for companies to engage with justice principles. Business leaders will share learning and best practice with the aim of building momentum amongst peers to integrate justice into their climate transition action plans. We will end the session with drinks and networking.
