Donor Advised Funds – How this model of philanthropic funding helps to create a more sustainable future

In this session, the panellists will explain how Donor Advised Funds work and the benefits of using a DAF versus a charitable foundation or giving directly to charities.  We will explore DAF trends such as the increase in non-cash gifts, the transfer of charitable trusts and the new tax landscape as a growth driver.  The panel will also share their insights into why advisers should talk to their clients about philanthropy and how best to have the conversation.
