I am a Chemical Engineer with a PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and over 15 years of experience in the global forest products industry. Based in Berlin, I lead the European innovation strategy for CMPC Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Empresas CMPC.
At CMPC Ventures, we identify disruptive businesses aligned with our 2030 Strategy, which focuses on innovation and sustainability. My role is to serve as a strategic bridge between Europe’s technological frontiers and our core business, applying a rigorous technical lens and scientific perspective as the essential filter to evaluate the strategic fit of our investments. In the forestry and bio-materials sector, this technical validation is critical to distinguish laboratory promises from solutions capable of real-world industrial impact.
We catalyze growth across the entire value chain, including key verticals such as new biomaterials—lignin and nanocellulose—sustainable packaging, bio-based fibers, and circular industrial digitalization, leveraging CMPC’s position as a global sustainability benchmark.
