Thom Rawson
Thom is a football-sustainability expert and founder of Sustainable Football, working across the football industry to provide specialist sustainability support.
He leads impactful sustainability programmes with English Premier League clubs Leeds United and Wolves, and holds roles as Head of Sustainability at non-profit Football For Future and Community and Sustainability Director at Basingstoke Town Community FC.
Thom has over a decade of experience leading sustainability transformation across football, infrastructure and transport, including delivering the first ever industry-wide sustainability strategy for rail in Great Britain - the Sustainable Rail Blueprint - which won ESG Strategy of the Year at the edie Awards 2025.
His past experience includes working on Heathrow Airport’s sustainability leadership plan, becoming the first Chief Sustainability Officer in English football, and being named among edie's 30 under 30 Class of 2020 for Sustainability Leaders.
