Talia Berriman is a sustainability professional focusing on the strategy and delivery of equitable climate action in UK local government. As the Head of Green Economy at the London Borough of Newham, Talia’s role focuses on green skills, engaging businesses on sustainability, circular economy initiatives and embedding a just transition across the council through policy change and capacity building. Talia previously worked at the London Borough of Brent, and at UK100, the only network for highly ambitious UK mayors and local leaders committed to tackling the climate emergency. Talia holds an MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh and also serves as a board member for Climate Emergency UK CIC.
