Sylvie Verinder founded Tumblebug during lockdown 2020 with the vision of creating regenerative circular solution for organic waste.

With a degree and postgraduate degrees in Environmental Chemistry and Waste Management, her career spans 36 years as a landfill scientist, waste management regulator, operations manager and environmental consultant.

She has extensive experience in waste policy, legislation, circular economy, plastics recycling, AD, composting, ocean plastic, life cycle analysis, environmental impact assessments and energy recovery.
