Sarah Morriss is a Senior Manager in Business Development at Forliance, where she drives strategic partnerships with institutional investors, corporate clients, and community-based networks to develop and scale high-integrity, nature-based climate projects. Her work enables companies to meet their sustainability and Net Zero targets through tailored carbon credit strategies that prioritize local impact, environmental integrity, and long-term value.
In her role at Forliance, Sarah leads initiatives that bridge corporate climate ambition with on-the-ground action. She works closely with clients to ensure their climate solutions are effective, transparent, and aligned with ESG best practices. Her strength lies in translating complex sustainability challenges into actionable, results-oriented strategies that create measurable environmental and social outcomes.
Sarah is passionate about corporate sustainability, ESG, and climate justice. She brings over a decade of international experience in nonprofit leadership, global development, and humanitarian crisis response. Before joining Forliance, she managed multi-stakeholder projects across challenging geographies and secured substantial funding from institutional donors, multilateral agencies, and foundations. Her expertise spans public policy, advocacy, and strategic planning, grounded in a deep understanding of global development dynamics.
To further enhance her leadership capabilities, Sarah completed an Executive MBA at IESE Business School in 2024—one of the world’s top-ranked programs. This has equipped her with advanced skills in business strategy, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector collaboration.
