Sarah Kerr
Sarah is Energy Systems Lead at Oxfordshire County Council, where she leads on the development and delivery of the Oxfordshire Local Area Energy Plan. Her work focuses on bringing together the public sector, network operators and partners to shape practical, place-based approaches to the energy transition, to enable growth and decarbonisation priorities. This includes overseeing the development of evidence-led plans and translating these into credible, coordinated and investable pathways for delivery.
Sarah brings experience from previous roles within electricity networks (DSO), as well as time in political and public sector leadership. She is particularly interested in how more strategic regional energy planning can support coordinated grid development, unlock investment and enable a more resilient and locally responsive energy system.
She is passionate about collaborative approaches that enable places to take a clear and confident role in delivery net zero.
