Sam works for the National Energy System Operator in its Regional Energy Strategic Planning (RESP) team. His role focuses on regulation and policy, as well as how RESPs take account of GB-wide, local, regional, and devolved priorities. He previously worked at the energy regulator, Ofgem, where he contributed to the development of RESPs, and has also worked for trade associations supporting low-carbon technologies.
