Saar is an experienced International Trade and Investment Consultant serving as the UK Representative for the Free State of Saxony, Germany. As the UK–Germany partnership continues to strengthen, particularly following the recent Kensington Friendship Treaty, Saar supports Saxony’s efforts to deepen cross-border business relations and economic collaboration.

Working with Saxony Trade & Invest, the state’s economic development agency, Saar helps facilitate bilateral growth by assisting UK companies exploring expansion or market entry into Germany, as well as Saxon companies establishing a presence in the UK. She acts as the main point of contact for UK–Saxony economic relations, providing targeted support, strategic insights, and always waving the Saxony flag!

In the UK, three sectors are at the heart of Saxony’s engagement: Greentech, Semiconductors, and Medical Technology, where the strongest synergies exist between UK and Saxon expertise.
