Robert Foster
Robert gets paid to be nosey and opinionated. He advises and consults with public, private and third sector organisations to help them achieve their aims. He has over 20 years of professional experience as both a practitioner and consultant.
Robert’s interests and experience lie in social impact measurement; social enterprise and blended value business models; commissioning and procurement; and social innovation.
He is a published author. Robert has co-authored A Guide to 24 Best Practices for UK Social Enterprises (2021), Social Innovation (2017), The Social Impact Measurement Guide (2011), Faith-Based Organisations and Government at Local and Regional Levels (2008) and is currently finalising Practical Impact: Measurement and Management, due for publication 2027.
He has also written for a number of publications on, commercial and marketing issues, IT and Internet usage, and the not-for-profit sector, including China Business News, Posttimes Estonia, Social Enterprise Magazine, Chinatown Magazine, Charities Management, Business West Midlands and The Guardian (Society).
