Richard Andrews
Richard is a Partner and KPMG’s Head of UK ESG. He leads the practice across all markets and on a cross-functional basis to bring our deep ESG SMEs together with our core capabilities to support our clients in developing and implementing their responses to the various aspects of ESG.
Previously he was a partner in KPMG's Financial Services Consulting practice with over 25 years’ experience in regulation, controls and assurance.
From March 2021 to June 2023, Richard was national lead on UK Internal Controls Reform working on a cross-sector basis to develop KPMG’s practice and support clients in the development, implementation and assurance over Internal Controls Frameworks responding to UK Corporate Governance Reform.
Richard was appointed a Specialist Advisor to the House of Commons, Treasury Select Committee in July 2011 to May 2015. He served as an embedded advisor to the Committee from September 2011 to February 2012.
Richard was appointed as Chair of the ICAEW Financial Services Faculty Board in June 2021 and is a member of ICAEW’s Council.
