Mike is an actuary, running a responsible investment advisory business. Most of the company's work centres on climate change, finance and systemic risk (financial vs societal). He works across the finance sector in the UK and internationally, including with regulators and policymakers. The implications of weak government policy, converting systemic societal risks (generated by emissons) into systemic financial risk are poorly understood. What happens as the withdrawal of insurance accelerates? When climate risks are repriced in financial markets, who is affected? How big will the valuatoin changes be? He has recently taken a position as a member of the Vyzrd Advisory Board.
