Michelle Tan
Michelle is currently Senior Vice President of EDB’s Environmental Sustainability division where she oversees decarbonisation initiatives and development of the green growth sector.
In her 17-year career in EDB, Michelle has led several divisions including New Ventures where she oversaw corporate venturing and venture building, as well as the Aerospace and International Non-profits sectors and was the Centre Director of EDB's India office.
Michelle has also been seconded to various organisations over the course of her career, including to Temasek's Enterprise Development Group where she oversaw ecosystem development and investments into the agri-tech sector and mobilityX, a start-up spun out from SMRT Group where she led strategy and business development. Her most recent secondment was to NTUC Enterprise where she worked on eldercare strategy and innovation.
Michelle graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in applied mathematics and is also a Sloan Fellow with a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
