Michael Williams currently serves as a Senior Presales Engineer at Open Cosmos. Operating at the intersection of space technology and real-world application, Michael specialises in translating complex problems into actionable solutions, bridging the gap between the upstream and downstream Earth Observation industry. 

With a strong academic foundation in agricultural remote sensing, Michael started his career developing advanced EO solutions for the natural environment. He has since transition upstream, helping build and develop these solutions at a leading UK satellite infrastructure provider. 

Today, Michael leverages this deep domain expertise to architect custom EO solutions for global clients. Leading presales support Open Cosmos, he frequently works on mission-critical applications, from real-time imaging for natural disaster response to designing scientific solutions on optical satellite data.

Having spent many years researching and working directly with the natural environment, Michael remains deeply committed to advancing the Earth Observation industry's capabilities across the sustainability and geoscience sectors.
