Maxime Bureau joined 3M in 2011 where he leads its Government Affairs and Sustainability teams for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He is a member of the 3M management team for the EMEA region.

In parallel, Maxime has been Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU) from October 2017 to October 2020 with supporting the
development of this leading EU-US business organisation.

Previously, Maxime had spent 7 years with GE’s public policy team in Brussels following 4 years with Deloitte, based in Prague and providing advisory services across Central Europe. Maxime also worked with the European Commission in Brussels (PHARE programme, 1994-97) and Kiev (TACIS programme, 1997-99).

Maxime completed his postgraduate in economics at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, after a MSc in economics from the University of Toulouse. He earned an executive MBA at the University of New York in Prague.
