Matthias is a startup advisor, climate entrepreneur and Co-Founder and COO at OnePointFive, a Forbes Next 1000-awarded global climate advisory and training firm with a network of ~1,000 sustainability professionals across 70 countries. With 10+ years of experience across management consulting and entrepreneurship in Australia, Japan and the United States, including roles at PwC and Cambium Carbon, his work spans net zero strategy, climate finance, GHG emissions measurement, regulatory policy and decarbonisation implementation for Fortune 500 companies, leading NGOs, and climate tech startups.

A lead facilitator and content developer for OnePointFive Academy, Cisco NetAcademy and the Climatebase Fellowship, Matthias has trained hundreds of professionals on climate strategy, decarbonization pathways and corporate target-setting. He has spoken on scaling sustainability and the future climate workforce at COP28, COP29, Yale, MIT and NYU, and advises climate tech startups through Cleantech Open and Plug & Play. He holds a Master of Advanced Management from Yale, an MBA from Hitotsubashi ICS in Tokyo, and degrees in Accounting and Economics from Monash University and the University of Melbourne.
