Lizzi is the Chief Executive Officer of Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership, leading the strategic development of the organisation and delivery of the business plan. Originally from Bristol, but also having spent some time living in NYC, Lizzi has worked with various environmental/ social justice NGOs on various climate, nature and social justice initiatives.

During her time with the Partnership, the organisation has been at the heart of the city’s response to the climate and nature emergencies, since they were declared in 2018 and 2019, helping to:

Establish the One City Environment Board and Bristol Advisory Committee on Climate Change

Relaunch the Black & Green Ambassdor project with funding from the National Lottery Community Fund

Launch the Climate Action Programme and the Community Climate Action Project (funded by the National Lottery) which the Partnership leads and,

Support the development of the One City Climate and Ecological Emergency Strategies and One City Plan

Lizzi believes that collaboration across society - and creating space for all organisations and communities to play an active role in shaping and delivering action - is key to ensuring that responses to the climate and ecological emergencies are both fast and fair.

Lizzi is very interested in learning from other places and sharing our learning, as she believes our collective insights have the potential to contribute to the UK’s Just Transition.
