Leah Cummins
Leah Cummins is a first-year Real Estate Management degree apprentice at Allsop LLP, where she is gaining hands-on experience in property consultancy while studying at the University College of Estate Management. With a growing interest in how the built environment shapes the way people live and work, Leah is beginning to apply her academic learning in a real-world context.
Since joining Allsop, she has been involved in Commercial Valuation, developing her understanding of how market data, client needs, and economic trends influence property-related decisions. As she explores different areas of the real estate industry, Leah is building a broader view of its impact and discovering where her interests may lead.
At Reset Connect, Leah will share her perspective on the value of degree apprenticeships, highlighting how the support of the DDG Academy has empowered her and others at the start of their careers. Her talk will explore how the right guidance can unlock potential, broaden access, and shine a light on the wide range of rewarding – and often overlooked – career paths within the real estate and construction sector. She will reflect on early experiences, lessons learned, and what motivates her as she begins her journey in the industry.
