Laura joined AstraZeneca in 2019 and has held various roles across government affairs, sustainability, partnerships and strategic communications since then, including establishing the company’s COVAX partnership during the Covid-19 pandemic. She currently leads the company’s Sustainability Corporate Affairs, strategic partnerships and supports the group Chair. Prior to AstraZeneca, Laura worked at No.10 Downing Street in the Prime Minister’s Office. She also held various global external affairs roles at mining company Rio Tinto, and began her career in consultancy. Laura is also the Secretariat lead for the Sustainable Markets Initiative Health Systems Task Force. She holds an MA from Oxford University in Modern and Medieval Languages.
