Kevin Ward
A mechanical engineer by qualification and transportation professional, being a Fellow of the Institute of Highway Engineers. I started my career at British Gas and then joined Norfolk County Council moving from development planning to transport strategy via traffic management and road safety. Looking for a change I moved into the district council environment with Breckland Council in the economic development team, undertaking urban regeneration projects including a cinema led retail development and a transportation hub as well as managing an £8m funding programme. I subsequently moved to West Suffolk Councils as a place manager managing place programmes.
As Knowledge Transfer Manager, place (Local Authorities) I look forward to helping colleagues connect with councils throughout the country for positive outcomes and to achieve their clean energy objectives by developing links to innovative suppliers and solution providers particularly in the housing and energy reliance areas.
