Managing Partner, Global Systematic Investors LLP
Kate Hudson has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and global asset management, spanning strategy, distribution, and product management across retail, wholesale, and institutional channels worldwide.

She is a Partner at Global Systematic Investors (GSI), a specialist fund manager focused on systematic, factor-based investing. At GSI, Kate leads the Advisor Services business and is responsible for stewardship and engagement. She recently completed the Stewardship and Engagement Leadership Programme at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford, and holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.

Before joining GSI Kate was Head of Institutional Business UK and Europe – Listed Infrastructure at Legg Mason, Director at RARE Infrastructure UK, and Director at Russell Investments in London, where she helped develop the UK retail distribution and product strategy. She also established the Australian and New Zealand adviser business for Dimensional Fund Advisers and held senior positions at BT Funds Management and AMP Capital.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University and a Diploma in Professional Photography from Spéos Photography School in Paris. She is also a Trustee of the Shrewsbury Food Hub, a local charity focused on reducing food waste.

Through her three decades in investment management Kate has seen markets shift, strategies evolve, and new challenges emerge. Through it all, her focus has remained the same—delivering smart, practical solutions and building lasting relationships based on alignment, trust and integrity.
