Jodi Manning serves as the CEO of Cool Effect, a San Francisco Bay Area 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas emissions around the world through the support of high-quality carbon projects. Jodi partners with Chief Sustainability Officers to integrate carbon credits into their corporate sustainability programs. Under her leadership, Cool Effect has facilitated the retirement of over 10 million tonnes of harmful GHGs and directed $84 million to front-line climate initiatives. With more than a decade of climate leadership and prior senior roles in digital media and advertising, Jodi is now focused on developing strategies to retire a gigatonne of emissions.
