Javier Mateos works at the intersection of sustainability expertise and technology. He currently leads the Business Development team at Carbon+Alt+Delete, a climate-tech company developing carbon accounting software tailored for sustainability consultancies.

In his role, Javier focuses on building and establishing long-term partnerships with sustainability consultancies across Europe and internationally. He works closely with carbon specialists, engineers, and auditors to understand their operational realities and ensure that digital tools support existing methodologies, workflows, and quality requirements.

At Carbon+Alt+Delete, Javier manages commercial relationships with consultancies operating in highly technical contexts, from corporate carbon footprinting to regulatory reporting and advisory services. His work centres on aligning software capabilities with consultants’ practical needs, including data availability, auditability, methodological consistency, and the ability to scale impact without compromising scientific rigour.

Javier is particularly interested in how strong partnerships between climate-tech providers and consultancies can enhance the credibility and reach of sustainability work worldwide.
