James is a Director in the Catalyst team.

James joined M&G in 2015 on the investment graduate scheme, prior to working in Prudential Capital, the Principal Investment arm of Prudential Plc. James has been investing in private markets for the last decade and is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing investment opportunities for Catalyst. James was previously based in New York with Catalyst for 3 years, with primary responsibility for investments across the Americas.

James has led transactions across a variety of sectors including life sciences, artificial intelligence, the carbon value chain and consumer finance. James represents Catalyst on the Boards of Nuritas and Svante.

James has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick and is a CFA Charterholder.
