After 8 years at PwC auditing international, listed, and private businesses, James joined CFGI where he specialises in ESG frameworks and has integrated into the ESG teams across a range of companies to help them deliver on their ESG reporting obligations. This includes UK, US and European listed businesses preparing for CSRD/EU Taxonomy and private businesses preparing for IFRS S1/S2, TPT and the TCFD. He has supported clients through the entire process, from initial scoping, materiality assessments and implementations, to report drafting and responding to auditors. James is a subject matter expert on the International, UK and European ESG regulation and how they can be applied in practice.

As an expert on regulation, James runs education sessions and speaks at events about practical, value adding, and experience driven approaches to ESG reporting. He stays informed on ESG trends and practices by leveraging his network of lawyers, auditors, consultants, and industry practitioners, participating in industry events, and through his hands-on work with clients.
