Hannah Cool is an advisor working at the intersection of business, finance and public policy. She currently is a senior advisor to a number of organisations including major banks, credit ratings agents, as well as start ups and scale ups. 

With a background in management consulting and executive leadership, Hannah has advised investors, banks, membership bodies and growth-stage companies on regulatory change, value creation and market expansion. She also acts as an advisor to UK government and parliamentary stakeholders on SME data access, climate disclosure and regulatory reform, challenging structural weaknesses in current systems and advocating for more accurate data, better capital allocation and fairer market design.

Known for her energy, clarity and ability to align diverse stakeholders, Hannah bridges the gap between policymakers, financial institutions and the real economy- turning policy intent into workable, scalable solutions for UK businesses. 

Hannah led the SME Data Taskforce which was recognised as a finalists in the Sustainability Reporting & Communications category at the Edie Sustainability Awards 2026
