Emma Burlow is one of the UK’s leading sustainable business specialists with more than 25 years' experience advising on sustainability strategy, climate and circularity. She is a certified Master Trainer and certified Carbon Literacy Consultant and has trained more than 2000 employees from businesses including Beko, B&Q, BT Group, Kenwood and Openreach. Emma’s impact removes barriers to make change happen, enables mindset shifts and grows confidence. She is committed to supporting trainers in the sector and is building Lighthouse Academy to support this. Emma has supported 100s of businesses throughout her advisory career; her style is a practical troubleshooter, and she’s known for her commercial perspective. Previously, Head of Circular Economy at Resource Futures, with a background in waste and resources, she brings a valuable all-rounder approach to any sustainability problem. Emma is the host of the weekly Straight Talking Sustainability Podcast, where she shares advice around the everyday issues facing sustainability professionals. Emma is an Innovate UK assessor; Co-Founder of Not Sustainable advisory group and a Trustee of Great Oaks Hospice.
