Effie Wang is a Senior Investment Manager at Octopus Energy Generation, focusing on transactions within nature-based carbon solutions, distributed energy, and emission reduction sectors. Her role involves leading origination and investment activities in the Nature Capital space, including managing Octopus's investment in Cultivo. Prior to joining Octopus, Effie gained extensive international M&A experience. This included five years in private equity and debt investment focused on natural resources. She began her career in M&A at Société Générale after completing her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
