I am the third generation of a family farm in and around the Cuckmere Valley, East Sussex. We currently manage a large mixed farming operation with diversified businesses including 1,800 acres of arable crops, 800 breeding ewes and 40 suckler cows. 22 years ago, I started as sheep farmer, working the downs that surround us;over that time I have gained a deep-rooted love for this beautiful valley. I am passionate advocate for sustainable and sympathetic farming practices and conservation. In 2012, I co-founded Long Man Brewery, based on our family site, Church Farm, Litlington. The brewery has grown into the second largest independent brewery in Sussex.
