Ever since turning vegan for the planet and animals 6 years ago, I’ve sought out avenues to help build a better food system that’s secure, sustainable and just. My first foray into the space was working to advance the alternative protein sector in India through my work at the Good Food Institute India. I had the opportunity to lead multiple workstreams including running our flagship Innovation Challenge, piloting university chapters and providing advisory to our network of 150+ alt protein companies.
Having transitioned out of that role after nearly 4 years, I took some time out to rest and refocus towards doing the most good. Creating meaningful change by supporting ambitious teams has always been the focus and I've now joined two exciting initiatives that further my alt protein ambition: Cell Ag UK and The ProVeg Incubator where I get to lead programs focused on providing expert mentorship, facilitating strategic partnerships, and supporting the most promising innovations that can transform the future of food.
