Climate Resilience Specialist, Zurich Resilience Solutions

Daniel is a Climate Resilience Specialist at Zurich Resilience Solutions and holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London.
Daniel conducts climate risk assessments for companies enabling them to understand and quantify their exposure to climate change and helps them to develop strategies to adapt and reduce the impact to their assets, operations and people. He performs assessments at both portfolio-level and individual site-level where he visits sites to assess site-specific vulnerabilities and evaluate control measures. Daniel has expertise in working with climate models and using the data outputs to extract useful risk insights for customers to help build the business case for adaptation. Daniel has performed assessments for multinational companies in a variety of sectors, including real estate, energy, and manufacturing. His work supports companies carry out climate-related disclosures, both mandatory and voluntary, such as TCFD and CSRD.

Daniel regularly speaks at events on topics related to climate risk and resilience, and has been featured as a subject-matter expert in publications such as Forbes and in a TNT Sport documentary on sustainability and climate in sport.

Prior to joining Zurich, Daniel worked for a geospatial data analytics company carrying out climate change hazard analyses and vulnerability assessments for insurers and large corporates.​ Daniel’s background also involves working within the sustainability and climate action consulting field as a startup founder and within a large consultancy firm.
