Dan joined Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) as Director of Scheme Delivery in October 2025, bringing 25 years’ experience in the energy sector. The first half of his career focused on major project delivery, investment planning, and the development and execution of regulatory business plans, predominantly within the UK onshore gas industry. Since the early 2010s, Dan has been a leading executive in the energy transition, with experience across a broad range of technologies and projects. These include post-combustion power, hydrogen (across the full value chain), Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), renewables and wider low-carbon solutions. Prior to joining LCCC, Dan worked at Equinor, where he led the UK Low Carbon Solutions portfolio. During this time, he held a number of Board Director positions, including with the Dogger Bank Wind Farm and the Carbon Capture and Storage Association. Dan is a Chartered Engineer and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
