Cora Taylor - Nature and Climate Impact Team

Cora Taylor

Research Impact Fellow, Nature and Climate Impact Team
Cora Taylor is a Research Impact Fellow with the Nature and Climate Impact Team (NCIT) at the University of Exeter, where she designs and supports projects that accelerate positive action on nature and climate—particularly in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and electronics sectors.

NCIT is a small, agile team hosted at the University but funded philanthropically to drive real-world outcomes. Combining researchers and communications specialists, the team creates campaigns, runs pilots, and convenes unusual coalitions across academia, business and civil society to push ambitious ideas into action. From supporting Yo-Yo Ma’s “Performing Hope” concert for the glaciers at Davos, to embedding nature in the boardroom through global business networks like UKBCSD, B4N and BBF, NCIT focuses on projects that deliver impact for the planet.

Cora’s work is collaborative, often partnering with leading NGOs, brands, and researchers to lower the nature and climate footprint of global systems- especially where hidden leverage points can unlock large-scale change. At Reset Connect, she will speak about Save the Flavours, a global campaign that connects food and drink favourites like chocolate, coffee, vanilla and beer to the climate crises threatening their future.

Originally launched in New York with actor Rainn Wilson handing out “endangered” ice cream, the campaign has grown into a global movement. In Brazil, it has reached millions through partnerships with Globo and major cultural influencers. In Europe, the campaign was brought to supermarket shelves through a collaboration with Tony’s Chocolonely, and the campaign is now seeking more brand partners to grow the movement and connect everyday flavour with planetary protection.

Before joining NCIT, Cora led climate policy engagement at Volta Greentech, a pioneering Swedish climate tech company developing lower-methane solutions for agriculture. Her background spans climate policy, systems thinking, and campaign strategy - all rooted in a belief that change happens when we connect action to what people already value.
