Clare Wood
Clare Wood advises boards, asset managers and individuals on investment strategy, product design and what it means to invest with genuine purpose. She is particularly interested in the convergence of three structural shifts: the largest wealth transfer in history, the opportunities for investing for environmental and social impact and the technological rebuilding of financial infrastructure - and what these mean for capital allocation over the next decade.
Her executive career spans portfolio management, investment risk, and product design across fundamental and quantitative strategies. Senior roles include Global Head of Product and Global Head of Investment Assurance at First Sentier Investors,and Portfolio Specialist at Stewart Investors.
Clare holds a First Class degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics and a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Sheffield.
