Caroline Missen is Chief Sustainability & Growth Officer at Cultivo, a public benefit corporation focused on accelerating investment to regenerate nature at scale. Cultivo is radically transforming how nature-based projects are originated through the use of AI, innovative financing, and robust quality assurance.
She has over 25 years general management and commercial experience based in London, Beijing, Washington DC and Melbourne across the climate tech, energy, automotive and professional service sectors.
Prior to joining Cultivo she was Chief of Staff to Shell’s Downstream Director and led an Executive Committee sponsored transformation programme supporting customers to decarbonise. Prior to this she worked with Ford and industry associations in finance and communications
Caroline has a Science degree from the University of Melbourne, a Master’s in Marketing from Monash University and completed the University of Cambridge Business Sustainability Management executive programme. Raised on a farm in Australia, Caroline was also co-founder of a winery early in her career.
