Ben Wells is the Founder of CarbonCentric, a carbon management platform helping the construction sector measure, manage and reduce embodied carbon across the project life cycle. By providing real-time carbon intelligence, CarbonCentric enables project teams to make better-informed decisions, identify carbon hotspots and drive meaningful reductions from design through to delivery.

Ben is also Founder and Managing Director of Mainer Associates, a sustainability consultancy supporting clients in the delivery of low-carbon, high-performance developments. With more than 20 years' experience in sustainability, environmental assessment and whole-life carbon, he has advised on a wide range of projects across the UK.

Passionate about combining technical expertise with digital innovation, Ben is focused on transforming carbon management from a compliance exercise into a strategic tool that accelerates decarbonisation and delivers measurable impact across the built environment.
