With a PhD in Chemical Oceanography, Antonia has researched the impacts of climate change and sea-ice melt on carbon storage in the Arctic Ocean. Following this, Antonia transitioned to providing sustainability expertise for the chemical industry, where she specialized in corporate carbon accounting, product life cycle assessment, and rolling out frameworks to manage nature impacts and dependencies across the value chain. At Openreach, Antonia drives sustainability initiatives to help the organization achieve its net zero goals and build a climate-resilient network. She provides expertise on carbon reduction, circular economy practices, and nature protection, integrating these into operations and enhancing the organization’s capacity to operate responsibly.
