Anne leads Geothermal UK, the industry body accelerating geothermal. The Geothermal UK platform brings together all key stakeholders to raise awareness about the UK’s geothermal potential, drive policy and create the structures required to enable geothermal development.

Anne has many years' experience in the geothermal sector in Bavaria, Germany. As well as leading geothermal development companies, working closely with local communities to realise deep geothermal projects, Anne acted at city, state and national level in Germany to extend opportunities for geothermal development.

Anne is keen to ensure sustainable funding of geothermal. In Germany she was involved in the development of funding and risk management mechanisms to enable geothermal, and is now engaging with public and private investors in the UK to create similar mechanisms here.

Anne started her career in finance, and has worked in Private Equity, as a CFO in industry and as an entrepreneur.
