Annabel Nelson is a finance and sustainability expert with over 25 years of experience in global financial services firms. She specializes in transforming how global financial institutions deploy capital to drive profitable growth while managing systemic risk.

A systems thinker, Annabel is partnering with Co-Labs, leveraging technology to develop pragmatic and commercial solutions that enable firms to direct finance towards a sustainable and just transition of the global economy. As the Strategic Advisor to CDP on Financial Institutions, she authored "Navigating Troubled Waters," earning recognition as a 2025 Finance for the Future Awards Finalist in the Finance Changemakers category for her industry-endorsed board-level guidance on sustainability and systemic risk.

Previously, Annabel served as Group Head of Sustainability Strategy and Policy at M&G plc, reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer. She also held the position of Head of Credit Market Relations and ESG at Prudential plc, where she led global credit investor and rating agency engagement for the £7 billion debt rebalance and demerger of M&G from Prudential.

Annabel is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
