Andrew Wordsworth is an entrepreneurial leader with over 20 years of experience in the low-carbon circular economy. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sustainable Ventures, the UK’s leading hub for sustainable start-ups, which has supported over 800 climate tech businesses, raised £1 billion in funding, and created 6,000 green jobs.

A Cambridge Engineering graduate, Andrew previously held senior roles at Carbon Trust Enterprises, Bain, and Arthur D. Little. He has launched impactful initiatives, including Salix Finance and Low Carbon Workplace.

Committed to diversity, over 50% of his investment portfolio features female co-founders. Andrew is an advocate for the UK’s sustainability agenda, serving on advisory groups for OFGEM and DESNZ, and collaborating with the GLA and Regional Combined Authorities. A frequent speaker and media contributor, he was recognized as Business Green’s Entrepreneur of the Year, reflecting his dedication to driving impactful climate tech solutions
