CEO and Co-Founder of Pipeline Organics. Used to engineer antimicrobial proteins. "Turned to the Dark Side" after an opportunity to learn project management while working as a molecular biologist. Since then, has built £1.2m commercial research centre for University of Nottingham and co-founded and led the commercial and funding plans of Pipeline Organics Ltd. Alongside co-founder Keyvan Jodeiri, has brought Pipeline Organics from a competition-winning business idea in the Ingenuity Lab to a Seed-stage business that has proven biofuel cells in mutliple waste streams. Is now managing the integration of biofuel cells into brewery sites, building business cases to save 22% OpEx in single-digit-margin industries, and seeking funding to scale the solution from paid-for demonstrators to full-scale, containerised solutions for application across UK drinks. Outside of work, enjoys combat sports and strategy game design.
