Sustainability Manager , West Yorkshire Police

Anda is West Yorkshire Police's Sustainability Manager and an advisory member on the North East & Yorkshire Net Zero Hub's Board. She has 15 years of experience in climate and energy policy, working in the civil service, research, consultancy, NGOs, and electricity networks, focusing on decarbonisation of transport and heating, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.

Since joining as their first Sustainability Manager in 2023, Anda has led the development of West Yorkshire Police's strategic sustainability plans, become the first person to roll-out Carbon Literacy training for police, and has been driving collaboration between the 100+ emergency service organisations, the energy sector, and policymakers to ensure the emergency services are ready to transition to electric vehicle fleets.
