Amy leads the Community Climate Action Project, an ambitious, citywide programme funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund. It demonstrates the important role communities can play in achieving the city’s climate and nature ambitions, whilst also improving people’s quality of life. Amy’s background is in education, participation and engagement and with over 25 years’ experience in working collaboratively with communities Amy has extensive experience of developing and delivering participation programmes in a variety of sectors including sustainability, place-making, arts & culture, STEM, heritage and community engagement. Amy ensures a values-based approach to her work and has a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Amy works diligently to ensure that communities are supported to lead on climate and nature action - and that their views are shaping the city’s approach
In her spare time Amy has volunteered as a charity trustee and school governor and as a community activist.
